Local History Talk

Roger Rogowski will give an illustrated first-hand account of what life was really like in North Kensington and Notting Hill before the mass slum clearances and the building of the Westway changed the area forever.
Roger grew up in Kensal Town in the 1950s and 60s and collected his memories and the memories of 28 other ‘Townies’ in his book, The Other Side of Notting Hill. He regularly gives talks and tours on the topic.
